We’re a small rural meeting of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) located in a community established in the 1870’s. Bear Creek Friends Meeting is an “unprogrammed meeting.” The worship is “unprogrammed” because there is no order of service and we have no paid pastor or minister. Simply stated, we wait in silence for the leading of the Spirit.
The topics for our pre-meeting discussion are always changing and on the third Sunday of each month we have our business meeting during this time.
We are located near Earlham, Iowa -west from Des Moines about 30 minutes on I-80 to exit 104.
